In the course of the artist’s career, some pieces fall out of the strict protocol of photography while still belonging to the overall approach.
For obvious reasons, this is the case with observatory windows, which are still places of transition, a kind of airlock between earth and sky, instruments of observation that, while they allow the gaze to escape through the trapdoor that opens onto space, retain the viewer inside.1.
